A Google Business Profile, set up properly.

When someone nearby searches "hairdresser near me" or "carpenter Belgrade", Google shows a map with three businesses first. That spot isn't bought with ads — it's earned by a profile that's completely and accurately filled in. We set yours up for €40–70, once.

Why this is the highest-return hour you'll spend

For a local business, the Google Business Profile often matters more than the website. It's what shows on the map when someone searches for a service nearby, it carries your hours, phone number and directions, and it collects the reviews people read before they call. Unlike ads, it doesn't bill you monthly.

The problem is that most profiles in this market are half-empty. No description, the wrong primary category, no services listed, two bad photos, and the Q&A section untouched. Google treats profile completeness as a signal, so a complete profile routinely outranks a better business with an empty one. That gap is fixable once, in a couple of days of work.

We handle both storefront businesses and service-area businesses that visit customers instead of receiving them — in the second case the street address is hidden and a coverage area goes in its place. If you don't have a website yet, the profile is a sensible first step; map enquiries arrive without one.

What we do to the profile

A full setup, not just opening an account.

  • Create or claim the profile and walk you through Google's verification.
  • Primary and secondary categories chosen from how people actually search.
  • A 750-character description written around the terms customers use.
  • Service list with descriptions, and prices if you want them public.
  • Service area or address, depending on the type of business.
  • Opening hours and holidays, plus phone, website and contact options.
  • Photos you send, processed and labelled properly.
  • Q&A pre-filled with the questions customers actually ask.
  • First post published, plus instructions so you can keep posting.
  • Review plan — how, when and who to ask, without buying or faking any.

The profile stays on your account. We work as a manager and can step out when the job is done, or stay on for monthly posts if you'd rather. We don't hold your profile hostage.

How it goes

A few days, plus whatever Google's verification takes.

  1. Day 1

    Details

You send basic business details, your services and photos. A short list, not a three-page questionnaire.

  2. Day 2–3

    Setup

We fill the profile out completely: categories, description, services, coverage, hours, photos.

  3. Google's clock

    Verification

Google asks for proof, usually a video or a postcard. We guide you through it, but the timing is theirs.

  4. On approval

    Handover

We walk the profile with you and leave instructions for posts and reviews.

What to expect, honestly

No percentages we can't back up.

A complete profile doesn't guarantee the top of the map pack. Proximity to the person searching, how long the profile has existed and how many reviews it holds all feed into that. What completing it reliably does is remove the reasons Google skips you: an empty category, no description, no services, no photos.

Once the first client profiles gather Google Insights data, real figures will sit here with a measurement date and the name of a business that gave permission. Until that happens, we'd rather leave the space empty than invent a number.

Common questions

Do I need a website to have a Google profile?

No. The profile works without one and is the main source of calls for plenty of local businesses. A website strengthens it later, because Google cross-checks the details on both, but it isn't a prerequisite.

What if I have no shopfront, or don't want my address public?

Then the profile is set up as a service-area business. The address is hidden and the cities and municipalities you cover go in instead. That's how we handle tradespeople, delivery, photographers — and ourselves.

How long does verification take?

Our part is done in two to three days. Verification is Google's and can take anywhere from a day to two weeks, depending on whether they ask for a video, a postcard or a call. We guide you through it, but we can't speed it up.

Can you get me reviews?

We don't buy or write reviews. It breaks Google's policy and consumer protection law, and when it's caught the profile loses trust and can be suspended. Instead we build a plan for asking real customers at the right moment, with a link that makes it easy for them.

Someone else created my profile and I can't access it.

That's resolved through Google's ownership request process. It isn't fast, but it's doable and we've done it. Send us the business name and we'll look at the state of the profile.

What about multiple locations?

Each location gets its own profile, with its own address and hours but the same business name and consistent details throughout. Pricing is per location, with a discount for several.
